False Apology by Sean October
2005 |
| |
|
| |
Mitner supersaturated
the atom and knew it was split, yet she |
| |
was an AustrianJew
and her colleague could not give her credit. |
| |
He became a German
Nazi and still wrote her to solve the problem |
| |
of how uraninium fission
was possible. |
| |
He stole her work and
was awarded the nobel prize. |
| |
Germany lost a world
war and war criminalized were exposed |
| |
Sixty years later the
German government apologized. |
| |
|
| |
Martin Luther in his
dying years did not understand why |
| |
Jews would not
convert to his reformed Christianity. |
| |
So he turned his writing
wrath on them. He did not want their death. |
| |
Instead he advocated
dispossession, dispersion and public disgrace. |
| |
Five hundred years
later the Synod apologizes. |
| |
They wanted in roads
into the economy of Israel to spread the faith. |
| |
|
| |
The Roman Church branded
Jews - "Christ killers" it was an obvious lie. |
| |
Agrippa , Rome's client
messiah king, put Christians to the sword. |
| |
Table manners and circumcision
divided Jews |
| |
Neither James, Jesus
brother, Peter or Paul branded Jews as killers. |
| |
It was a small band
of Jews who kept the messiah story alive. |
| |
When the church's power
was set with the Roman emperor's blessing |
| |
Then they wanted to
control their rivals and forced them into hated |
| |
roles as tax collectors
and could point to them in case revolts broke out. |
| |
Twenty long centuries
later they apologize. |
| |
The list goes on. But
the point is made. Two linked questions we ask. |
| |
Why was the apology
given? Was the apology sincere? |
| |
If the leaders of persecution generations
later took steps to undo their |
| |
crime and wanted to make it formal - then
we could ask why it took so |
| |
long? If that time was bringing their contrition
to fruition then fine. |
| |
If the powers to be see profits, land deals
if they say oops, then dig |
| |
deep to see why the apology was timed. |
| |
If the institution apologizes because they're
on their death bed then you |
| |
want to forgive them but you expect a more
than a salted tear. |
| |
If the patriarchy fear exposure of deeply
guarded secrets then they might |
| |
mouth some token words in order to bury
the truth even deeper. |
| |
Because the time span spans
millennia the apology may be a prelude to |
| |
finding out the ameliorators within so another
purge could be prepared. |
| |
But the easiest motive is a deep exposure
by someone they thought was |
| |
a loyal lackey turncoat like the author
of Hitler's Pope. It was already |
| |
published and when the heat was on, expediency
ruled the day and |
| |
the pretenders said the death, genocide,
humiliation and persecution |
| |
were the result of zealots way back when
so the delve into the details? |
| |
It was less sincere than that gentle voice
at the train station saying |
| |
"we are sorry for the inconvenience". |
