Back to home page Back to political issues   Understanding Reality   Sean November 2005   Beating the war drum to get us all hyped   Strike em first a jingoist is psyched   When a wiff of opposition is in the air   First tactic is pretend the smell's not there.       Next set up a false debate two party split   Hide the lies of why each cast truth in the pit.   As all the excuses for attack get slowly exposed   Those that uncover them get quickly disposed.       Pour billions in to a corruption well   Oil will out ain't capitalism swell.   At home workers take cuts unions are busted   Job overseas no company can be trusted.       Work harder, longer without any insurance   Your family in depression no reassurance   Jails fill with addicts no treatment tried   Education standards the books cooked in lies.       Were all on camara all actions closed watched   Even the churches morals hopelessly botched.
