To this woman, Jean, I give my heart in total fidelity
from now to the end of my days on earth. I respect her faith, her
knowledge, her views in all things and I will always work to focus on our
common ground, resolving our differences with the view of my own limited
knowledge and faith. All my limited talents, ambitions and wealth
are hers to share. All her sorrows, troubles I will help bear and
alleviate while respecting her own capacity to be self-reliant. I
will work to help her pursue any and all of her dreams, goals, crafts to
the best of my ability |
| |
|
|
| |
|
I will make no demands on this beautiful spirit to change
any of her beliefs, her politics, her friends. I want our dreams
to blend in a new mosaic with the best we can offer to each other.
But if I stand as an obstacle in any way of her faith, ideals, family or
goals, let me have the love, courage and conviction to step aside for her
best fulfillment. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
I will not abuse her love, friendship and compassion and
trust. I will make no test to have her pass. I will share all
work, burdens as well as join her in all her flights of spontaneity.
I will not ask for reciprocity but will continue to love her unconditionally.
I will not endanger her with any careless outbursts of temper or harsh words.
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
I wish to join with her in all
things when this is physically and spiritually possible. I do not
want to let a day go by with any sign of anger or unresolved dispute.
I will ask for her help and not seek any vain complement but appreciate
her frankness and honesty in all things. |

|
|
| |
|
I make this vow before the great wonder that we pray to
together. |
